The Two Cases of Spinal Meningiomas

Abstract
|
|
|
We described two cases of meningiomas of the spinal cord, extramedullary-one at the thoracic, the other at lumbar spine. These have variable neurological deficits due to compression of the cord, nerve roots and the dura. These were diagnosed easily with neurological examination, radiological study and laboratory tests, and confirmed meningiomas microscopically.
After total removal of the tumor by laminectomy, neurological deficits were disappeared completely.
